Congratulations on your new life in Jesus Christ. The bible says “as many as receive Him, to them He gave the right to become Children of God, to those who believe in His name” John 1:12.
The moment you made the decision to receive Jesus, you became one of God’s newest children and heaven threw a special party because of you, Luke 15:7. The bible also says “If anyone is born again, they are a new creature. Old things are passed away. Indeed, all things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Now as a child in the family of God, you need to grow in the knowledge of the new you, get to know God better and follow Jesus as your Lord. Jesus also commanded we fellowship with other believers. In no particular order, the following are steps you need to take to remain in God’s eternal kingdom while in this earthly realm.
1.Fellowship with God’s family – a bible, Jesus and the Holy Spirit- centred church.
2.Read your bible and pray daily to grow
3.Receive the Holy Spirit in you
4.Be baptised in water
5.Invite others to receive Jesus. (Use 12 Reasons as speaking points)
